About Cate
Cate Tomlinson is one of LA’s most promising alt-pop storytellers. Raised in the Bay Area and now based in Los Angeles, she began at the piano, turning personal moments into songs that resonate far beyond her own experience.
After honing her craft in Boston, Cate released her debut EP Blueberry Season (Aug 2023). Led by the breakout single “so cool so mean”, her follow-up EP The Side Effects of You moves confidently between aching ballads and bold pop anthems.
With honesty and emotional depth, she explores vulnerability, heartache, and self-discovery — creating a powerful connection with listeners navigating their twenties.
